Admins can assemble matter teams that handle case types together. A default matter team might be composed of an attorney, a case manager, and a paralegal. Structure default matter teams to suit your case needs.

How to Create a Default Matter Team

1. Create and Name Matter Team

  1. Log in to Litify.
  2. Navigate to App Launcher > Default Matter Teams.

  3. Select New
  4. Provide a Default Matter Team Name.

  5. Save

2. Add Team Members

  1. Navigate to the Default Matter Team created in part 1. 
  2. Select New.
  3. Provide a Team Member Name, User, Role, and Billable Hourly Rate.

  4. Select Save & New.
  5. Repeat until all team members have been added. 

End users can assign Default Matter Teams using the Administration > Matter Team field on a matter record.
