Set up Gravity Forms to Post to Litify

This guide helps WordPress developers convert the form to an acceptable format for Litify. These instructions are meant for sites that use Gravity Forms, but you can use this as a framework for sites using other forms.

1. Download the Gravity Forms plugin.

2. Add a hidden field onto your web form called Content-type, and make it a text field. Set the default value: application/JSON

3. Once you've downloaded the plugin, it will show up in the forms menu. Click Send to Third Party to access Feed Settings.

4. Fill out the fields in Feed Settings:

Feed Name: Send to Litify
Method: Post
API URL: yoursite.secure.force.com/api/services/apexrest/litify_pm/api/v1/intake/create
Authorization: Select any.
Headers: Type "Content-type," and in Select a Field choose the hidden field that you created in Step 2.
API Parameters
Format: Select JSON from the dropdown list.
Map API Parameters to Form Fields: For each field that you want to post, type it into the box exactly as it appears in the list below (case sensitive and must be Camel case), and in the Select field choose the appropriate field on your web form to map to. Here's a list of options for you based on the fields in Litify. See the complete intake fields here and select which wants you want to map to. Some examples:

caseType
city
description
email
firstName
incidentDate
intakeStatus
lastName
phone
postalCode
state
street

Now, when a form is filled out on your site it will convert the HTML output to JSON and send it right into Litify.
