Using Docrio Edit

Docrio Edit allows users to make edits to any documents with a native desktop application—like Word documents, Excel files, or Adobe PDFs—and have the new version save directly to both Docrio and to the record as a new version. For more information on using Docrio Edit, please see our dedicated article

Using DocAssign

DocAssign allows Docrio users to easily bulk upload documents into Docrio, parse and assign them to the necessary record. Users no longer need to know the record ahead of time. This is particularly great for organizations that scan and want to process inbound mail and letters. For more information on using DocAssign, please see our dedicated article

View Versions and History

Docrio supports up to 100 versions of a document; for more document versions, simply attach the file again to the matter as a new record.

See the File Actions section of the Docrio User Guide for information about document versions and history.

Error Logging and Exporting

The Docrio Desktop app supports error logging to let you know when something goes wrong. You can also export a copy of these error logs for future viewing and further investigation.

When something causes the Docrio Desktop app to produce an error, it will appear in the app like in the image below.

Clicking Save next to the error message will allow you to export a copy of the error logs. Upon opening the logs you will find that they appear in a format similar to the one found in the image below.

If you're having trouble understanding the error log we recommend that you reach out to your system administrator, or reach out to Litify Support for further help.
