Once you sign up a case and begin qualifying it in Litify Intakes, you might discover additional information or determine that you do not want to work the case. You have the option to turn it down at any time with the Turn Down action.
1. Open an intake. In Litify Actions, click Turn Down.
2. The "Turn Down this Intake?" window opens.
a. Select a Turn Down Reason. This populates the Turn Down Reason field on the intake. If you select Other, complete the Other field. This populates the Turn Down Details field.
• Important Note: You cannot edit the Turn Down Reason options.
b. Click Confirm.
3. The intake Status field changes to Turned Down.
If this intake began as a referral, this action updates the referral and notifies the originating firm that you have turned down the case.
