Time Entries Settings allow you edit two settings: Time Entry Description length and the Billable Interval. Determine these settings prior to creating time entries. Time Entry Description length allows you to determine the length of the description users can add when creating time entries. Billable Interval determines the rounding when you add time entries from the stopwatch.

1. Visit Litify Setup.

2. There are two settings in Time Entries.

Use Long Text Area For Time Entry Description: toggle this on to expand the character limit on the Time Entry Description field from 255 characters to 131072 characters.

• If this setting is off, the Description field on the "Create Time Entry Record" window populates the Time Entry Description field on the time entry record.
• If this is on, the Description field populates the Time Entry Description Long field on the time entry record.

Billable Interval (minutes): This setting determines the interval the stopwatch rounds up to when adding a time entry. If you set the Billable Interval to 6 minutes, then any amount of time below 6 minutes rounds up to 6 minutes. Any amount of time over 6 minutes rounds up to 12 minutes. Set the interval as any amount of minutes up to 60.

The Billable field on the time entry triggers the billable interval.
