Using Time Sheets in Timekeeping

Timekeeping allows Users to view and edit all of their Time Entries in a convenient time sheet. Administrators can also access time sheets for each User in their Org, editing single Time Entries or making changes in bulk. 

Navigating in Time Sheets

Time Sheets can be accessed through the Time Tracking App. Click the App Launcher Icon in the top left corner > Search for "Time Tracking" and click to launch the app > Click Time Tracking in the navigation bar at the top. The current User is displayed by default, and Time Entries are grouped by day.


Jump to a Date

From the Time Sheet, Users can use the calendar icon    to navigate to a previous date > A 'Jump to Date' window opens > Users either type the date into the search bar, or click the calendar icon to see a month-by-month view > Click the date > Click Go to jump to it!


Navigating by Week

Users can also navigate using the weekly view by clicking the back arrow     beside 'This Week' to go backward, or the arrows beside 'Last Week' to go forward or backward. 


Navigating Between Users

Administrators or Users who've been granted 'Log Time As...' permissions can navigate between Users by clicking the down arrow     next to the User's name at the top of the time sheet. 


Admin can also use 'Search Users...' to find a user, which is especially helpful for orgs with many employees using Time Tracking. 


Searching the List

Users can also search for specific time entries by week using the 'Search this list...' search bar at the top of the Time Sheet. 


Individual Actions in Time Sheets

Users can add, delete, or make changes to Time Entries from the Time Sheets view. 

Add a Time Entry

Click the 'Add Time Entry' button to add a Time Entry from the Time Sheet. 


Users can also click the Add Icon (+) beside any day in the week view to add an entry for that specific date.


Note: Administrators or Users with permission to add Time Entries for others will be able to select a User when adding a Time Entry

Delete a Time Entry

To delete a Time Entry, click the down arrow     on the right side of a Time Entry > Click Delete > Click Confirm


Edit a Time Entry

Similarly, Users can edit Time Entries by clicking the down arrow    on the right > Click Edit > An 'Edit Time Entry' window opens > Make changes to Time, Rate, Description, and more. 


Bulk Actions in Time Sheets

Users and Admin can make changes to Time Entries in bulk using the Time Sheets view.

Edit Time Entries in Bulk

Users can edit the Related To, Category, Description, Rates, Billable, Billing Status, and/or Date using the Bulk Edit action. 


Click the checkboxes beside each Time Entry which needs to be edited, or click Select All > Click Bulk Edit > In the 'Bulk Edit' window, click the checkbox beside one or more elements to edit > Click Save > Click Yes, Continue.
