Using Time Sheets in Timekeeping

Timekeeping allows Users to view and edit all of their Time Entries in a convenient time sheet. Administrators can also access Time Sheets for each User in their Org, editing single Time Entries or making changes in bulk.

Navigating in Time Sheets

Time Sheets can be accessed through the Time Tracking App.

  1. Search for and click "Time Tracking" using the App Launcher icon.
  2. Click the Time Tracking tab in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
  3. The current User is displayed by default, and Time Entries are grouped by day.

Jump to a Date

From the Time Sheet, Users can quickly jump to other dates using the calendar icon.

  1. Click the calendar icon next to the week selector.
    • This will cause a “Jump to Date” window to open.
  2. Either type the date into the search bar, or click the calendar icon to see a month-by-month view.
  3. Click the date
  4. Click Go.

Navigating by Week

Users can navigate to other weeks using the arrows near the calendar icon. Clicking the left arrow or right arrow will move you backwards or forwards a week respectively.

The text between the arrows will change depending on which week you are currently viewing.

Searching the List

Users can search for specific time entries by week using the Search this list... search bar at the top of the Time Sheet.

Alternatively, you can click the lightning-spyglass icon to open the advanced search window. This feature offers even more powerful search options using many parameters to help narrow your searches. For more information on this feature and how to use it, see our dedicated article

Navigating Between Users

Administrators or Users who've been granted Log Time As... permissions can navigate between Users by clicking the down-arrow next to the User's name at the top of the time sheet.

Admin can also use the Search Users... box to find a user. This is especially helpful for orgs with many employees using Time Tracking.

Detail View

User can view a detailed summary of a Time Entry directly from the Time Sheet. To do this, click on any Time Entry on the Time Sheet. After doing so, a detail window will appear on the side of the screen. From this view you will be able to edit the Time Entry by finding the field you wish to update and clicking the pencil icon next to it.
