Packet Categories allow you to organize your Docrio Packets into related groups.
Why are Packet Categories Helpful?
Permissions and Prerequisites
There are no additional permissions or prerequisites needed to utilize this functionality. If you can create packets, you can see the settings for Packet Category. Additionally, when you go to perform a merge on a record you can also view categories.
Creating Packet Categories
Here are the default Packet Categories that will be created in your org:
- Medical Forms
- Client Documents
- Insurance Forms
- Court Documents
Packet Category is a standard Salesforce picklist. To create more categories, or change the default ones, do the following:
- Navigate to Setup within your Litify org.
- Locate and launch the Object Manager using the Quick Find bar.
- Choose Merge Packet.
- Click Fields & Relationships.
- Locate Packet Category.
- Locate the Values section.
- From here you can add new categories, or edit the existing ones.
Adding a Category When Creating a Packet
We've added a Category field, which is a standard salesforce picklist, during the Packet creation process.
- Search for Docrio Document Generation within the App Launcher, or click the associated tab within Docrio.
- Click the Packet Builder tab.
- Click New Packet.
- Expand the dropdown next to Packet Category.
- Select the appropriate Category.
- Fill in the remaining information for your new Packet.
- Click Save.
Adding a Category to an Existing Packet
Similar to adding a Category to a new Packet, we use the associated dropdown menu when adding a Category to an existing one.
- Search for Docrio Document Generation within the App Launcher, or click the associated tab within Docrio.
- Click the Packet Builder tab.
- Click Edit a Packet.
- Locate the Packet that you wish to edit, select it, and click Edit Packet.
- Expand the dropdown next to Packet Category.
- Select the appropriate Category.
- Edit any other information on the Packet that you’d like.
- Click Save.
