This article lists the supported email clients that can be used in combination with Litify Inbox. At present, Litify Inbox can be configured to work with either Google (Chrome) or Microsoft (Outlook or Exchange) environments. Below we have listed the compatible clients depending on which version of Litify Inbox your organization has decided to use.
This how-to is broken up into the following sections:
Gmail and Google Workspace (GSuite) Servers
Litify Inbox can work with Gmail and GSuite Servers only through the dedicated Revenue Inbox Chrome Extension (not Litify branded). This extension is added to the Gmail/Google Workspace (GSuite) web interface to allow the two systems to communicate with each other.
The Extension works with Google Chrome browsers or browsers based on the Chromium engine. It is as cross-platform as the Chrome browser itself, so you can use it in any of the following environments:
- Windows 7 and later
- MacOS 10.10 and later
- Android KitKat and later
- iOS 11 and later
- Linux/Ubuntu
- Chrome OS
You can also effectively run the Extension on tablet devices. However, please note that the Extension’s rendering is not specifically optimized for use on mobile phone screens.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites to use the Revenue Inbox Chrome Extension are as follows:
- The latest version of Google Chrome or Chromium based browser
- A corporate Gmail / Google Workspace (G Suite) account
Microsoft Supported Email Clients
Litify Inbox is also available as a Microsoft (MS) Outlook add-in that is compatible with different types of MS Exchange and MS Outlook email clients.

Microsoft Exchange 2010

To have the Litify Inbox add-in available for MS Exchange 2010 mailboxes, the custom Desktop (.MSI) implementation of Litify Inbox must be installed.
If your email client is Microsoft Outlook for Windows, please make sure the latest version of MS Edge is installed in your system because it is used to render the Sidebar in Outlook.
Microsoft Exchange 2013, 2016, and 2019
Please note that the Litify Inbox add-in’s stable functioning in Outlook on the Web (https://outlook.live.com or https://outlook.office.com/) cannot be guaranteed with MS Exchange 2013 mailboxes.
