Known Issue: Users cannot open reports stored in a shared folder (Winter '22)

Issue Summary

In the Winter '22 Salesforce release, users can receive an error when trying to open reports that are stored in some shared folders. This can occur despite having access to the shared folders. An example of the error message can be found below.



While Salesforce reviews this behavior there are two options to resolve this:

  • Assign the "View reports in public folders" permission to the impacted user.


  • Create a new folder and move the impacted report to it.
