Known Issue: Error Downloading Documents (Docrio—Google Chrome)

Issue Summary

We've identified an issue impacting Docrio that appears to be linked to user's Google Chrome settings. When a user tries to download one, or more, documents they are unable to view the document. A success message will appear in the Litify Org but the browser settings prevent the document(s) from being viewed on the screen. The new document(s) may not be visible in the Files folder of the users desktop/PC either.


  1. Click the lock icon in the Google URL address bar, then Click on Site Settings.


  2.  Confirm that both "Pop-ups and redirects" and "Automatic downloads​" are set to Allowed. If they are not, change them both.


  3. Return to Litify and go through the document generation process again.
  4. With the browser settings altered, a pop-up will appear after your documents have successfully been generated.
