Detailed Settings

In the Detailed Settings section users can control other aspects related to sync:

  • Auto-removal settings (applicable to Firms with sync for Tasks and/or Contacts enabled)
  • Activities Sync Settings
  • Email domains blocklisted from syncing

Auto-Removal Settings

If this setting is enabled, Litify becomes the original and main source of Tasks and/or Contacts.

In this case if any synced Tasks or Contacts were deleted on the MS Exchange/ Google side, they will be recovered on the next sync session.

Alternatively, if this setting is disabled, no recovery will take place.

Activities Sync Settings

The toggle buttons available in this section control whether certain types of sync settings are enabled or disabled for this user.

Please note that this setting can be controlled org-wide and locked for end users. For more details about how these settings can be locked refer to the Litify Inbox Admin Panel article.

Email Domains Blocklisted from Syncing

If users do not want email messages and events from certain addresses or domains to be saved to Litify, like for personal or in-company ones, they can be added to the blocklist.

Litify Inbox will never save emails from/to these addresses and domains to Litify automatically; however, users still can save them manually via the Litify Inbox Sidebar.

The blocklist is also applied to Event sync. By default, Events which have only blocklisted addresses/domains among their invitees will not sync to Litify.

To add both email addresses and domains to the not-to-be-shared-by-sync blocklist,  specify all addresses or domains you want to exclude from auto-syncing to Litify:

For example, if users want to blocklist free email services such as and, they can add them to the blocklisted Domain's box as comma-separated values. Please note that the list does not support wildcards.

This individual user-defined blocklist. The org-defined blocklist is managed by the Admin or Support Team. Both these blocklists are applied when Litify Inbox processes events and emails.
